Need to stop the shouting

My two sons love playing mine craft etc. together. The problem is one computer is downstairs the other is upstairs, leading to very loud conversations between them. I am looking a simple, free chat software that I can connect headphones and mics to so they can chitter away till their hearts content. Any suggestions?

Load up Teamspeak Server, Skype, Ventrilo or failing that Mumble Server and make them both connect to it.

Thanks chaps. I take it Skype can be set up so only the two of them can talk to each other witout anyone adding them. Checking as they are only eight coming on fourteen

Ah. Skip Skype if they're only 8.

A local Teamspeak server would be a good idea.

Skype is fine, just set their usernames/emails to something unusual to find or setup fakes.
Even then, I've never had a random request from somebody.
