Hi all,

I seem to have left the lights on my little 07 plate ford KA this morning and flattened the battery, the car has an immobiliser and an alarm, There is enough charge for me to lock and unlock the car using the key fob.

My question is what will happen with the Alarm and imoboliser if i disconnect battery? Am i likely to set the alarm off, Can i Manually lock and unlock the car without the battery in and no Alarm issue's?

It just a bog standard factory fit.

Charge it in the car, problem solved :)

The alarm cant go off it wont have a battery to power it.

As for the locking thing I have no idea and do modern cars still have radio codes? remember that being an issue with older cars if you removed the battery.

I would charge it in the car as I know on my car (21 years old though) it resets the ECU if I remove the battery and it forgets all the adjustments it has made to run smooth

The alarm can go off if it is armed and has a battery backup. But you should be OK if you turn the alarm off before removing the battery.
