Hey everyone, i had done a quick search but nothing seemed to match what i was exactly looking for.
I'm after some advice as to which is the best way to limit all the ports transfer speed through my router. Currently when my housemate and i are playing a game of say TF2 or anything like that if one of us opens a large website the ping will spike through the roof as the web browser uses up as much dload speed as it can.
Im hoping that capping things like this to a speed of 60k/s max would mean it wouldnt cause the connection to be unuseable whilst the page is being loaded. Does anyone know of a simple means in which to do this and even better does anyone know if it will actually work? Its frustrating when playing an fps and someone gets a youtube link and the game is then unplayable for the next couple of minutes
