Need to Upgrade an S939 System

My family are using my old S939 system at home (my mums house) and its getting on a bit. The motherboard has already failed and I replaced it, but now the same thing has happened again.

Im going back to the UK in 3 weeks (I work abroad) and I need to sort it out for them. Current system is:

Athlon X2 3800
3GB PC4000
ASUS nforce4 SLI
8800GTS 320Mb.
250Gb HDD

Ive got about £200 max to upgrade, shall I replace the CPU/mobo/RAM with some 2nd hand C2D parts?

Or shall I buy them a Mac Mini (2nd hand)? I just want something for them to use thats minimal hassle, because Im not in the UK to sort out these sorts of problems for them. Any advice would be appreciated
