512 mb DDR
SIS661fx graphic chip on board

Play a lot of gaming and want to watch Dig. TV and record also
Had the pc open to day 1 slot for AGP
So looking forward to your posts to see how u can help me out TY
Anymore questions I will try and answer
 ps I am going to try and build PC in a few months time just want to try and upgrade this one first

If it were me I'd get 2GB DDR and a 6800GS or 7800GS.

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS3 (GE2GB3200BDC) (MY-046-GL)
£89.95 £89.95

For graphics I'd consider the following:

BFG GeForce 6800 GS OC 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - Retail (GX-013-BG) £139.95 £139.95
BFG GeForce 7800 GS OC 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - Retail (GX-016-BG) £189.95 £189.95
Gainward BLISS GeForce 7800 GT SILENT 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (AGP) - Retail (GX-030-GW) £234.95 £234.95

All would offer a sizeable improvement from your intergrated

What's your budget? You could also do with more RAM, another 512MB should be sufficient. The "Gainward BLISS GeForce 7800 GT SILENT" is probably the best AGP you can get, but it's pretty expensive. Other than that ATI 850XT seems good.

If you're aiming for a general upgrade,

get the RAM like naffa suggested.

I'd also personally aim for getting a half decent PCI-E motherboard and a new PCI-E gfx card.

How much are you looking at spending?

ty for the quick replys

I will be making a new PC in the next 3/6 months
Just wanted to upgrade this one
I can spend whatever but as long as it it is worth it not sure if it is worth spending £300 to £ 400
This pc will be a second one in a 3/6 months for the my kids to play with

ty for help

Unless your looking at getting top of the range gainward 7800 you aint going to need 2 gig of ram. The card wont run games high enough to use it. Get an extra 512 and save the money

if your upgrading in 3 - 6 months, get a 6800GS or X800XL now (both same performance).

Save the rest of your cash for your upgrade.
Either of these will give you a big boost
