Trying to connect to somebody's machine with VNC. Didn't work, so I tried Remote Assistance over - for some reason it didn't work, and I'm not 100% sure why. My machine tried to connect to there machine, it failed after about 20 seconds of the "attempting to connect" message.
I'm guessing it's do with the ports on their router - so is there any really simple program/method to connect, without mucking on with ports?
We tried to access their router (BT Voyager 2500v), but they've forgotten their BT password. Never come across a router asking for a BT username and password though, but Portforwarding.com agrees too...
It's a case of them getting/resetting their password, and/or getting a very easy to get work remote assistance program!
