Its it work getting Core 2 Duo E6700 2.67ghz - Skt775 Fsb1066 4mb Cache Boxed In or just Intel Core 2 DUO E6600

How long will this Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 last

Are Intel going to release anymore Intel Core 2 DUO in the next couple of months

I'd say not worth buying the 6700, you have to spend about £150 more but the chances are that it will overclock to the same sort of levels anyway. I don't imagine that Intel are about release anything particularly special in the next couple of months and there aren't likely to be any spectacular price changes.

This my final , will be placing order on monday morning

CORE 2 DUO E6600 2.4GHZ - SKT775 FSB1066 4MB CACHE BOXED

ASUS P5B DELUXE WIFI AP LGA775 CORE 2 DUO P965 FSB1066 8GB DDR2 SATA DUAL GIGABI

Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 80GB ST380811AS SATA-II 8MB - OEM x 2

You aren't overclocking so it's not as important. The arctic cooling freezer 7 pro is inexpensive and will provide more than enough cooling for an unclocked CPU. But you could easily overclock that chip to trounce the X6800 (£670 pounds worth to you and me) I did this in about 5 mins using a guide on here. Isn't that tempting? :D
