I'm in desperate need of my computer to send some important emails which I can only access via my computer....

As I was cleaning my PC last night I got the monitor and the PSU power supply mixed up.....

The 2 power supplys;

10A
250V

13A
250V

Any one have any ideas which will go to which?

I have never seperated my kettle leads. I use which ever one is to hand. Have spares from several PCs, Hifi equipment, screens all sorts.

Never noticed a difference and haven't had any problems.

I know my friends do the same as well.

If it's the mains (kettle) leads you've mixed up, it won't make any difference. Neither a monitor or PC PSU would draw anywhere near 10A. Worst that could happen was if the monitor lead had a 3A fuse in it, which could blow if you used it on a monster PC (circa 700W PSU at full load).
Edit: I mean that worst case is that the fuse could blow, not the monitor or PC!
