turned my computer on today and went into talk to my dad for half an hour then came back in and went onto it and went on the internet and the computer just shut off and i got confused because nothing seemed wrong so i pressed the button and heard a horrible sparking noise and smoke and i think it was comming from the graphics card so i turned it off right away. This computer is completly watercooled so I dont know what it could been. any ideas on what i could off been and what I should do.

The system hasnt been overclocked in a month and has been running fine since i bulit it 6 months agow. but there could have been a small oc on the cards but nothing like it was.

For a list of parts you can look at my bulid log ''Shiney n clean''

Found out it was the top graphics card that went on fire. i took the waterblock off and it doesnt seem like it is a short circut or anything no leaks ect... but it is one of the little black square things (voltage thingys) that have completly burnt and melted both sides of the card. I dont see how it could have happend the thremal pad was on perfect.

What could have caused this????

Can i slap the old cooler on and see if i can get a replacement from the company i bought it from (not here) its a pov 470.

You can always try and get a replacement, but given you've overclocked it and used watercooling i don't think your warranty is valid - depends if they notice signs of this on the card when they get it.
