Need USB dongle drivers

Hi

I accidentally damaged the drivers from my Advent USB Bluetooth dongle (p/n: ADE-C1EDR) and the Windows XP drivers that installed when I plugged it into my PC are only letting me send files from my PC to my phone (k810i) but not visa-versa. I get "Bluetooth connection failed" when I try to connect to the dongle attached to my PC, Windows XP SP2 (all updates)

I think it's a problem with the incoming com-port which I can't seem to edit because of the Windows drivers. Does anyone own this dongle and have the CD? I need to get these files somehow.

Thanks!

Ok tried that and no joy. Deleted the port which is set up for incoming bluetooth devices (were the device initiates the file transfer) and it still says "bluetooth connection failed".

Bummer! :(

EDIT: It is sort of working now. Can't connect to my PC direct, but when I click on "receive file" on my PC and I can then find the file I want to transfer on my phone and send it - so not all is lost!

get the sony erricson up date pack and use the cable much better transfer rate ..... Link this basicaly just instals the driver without all the extra crappy software sony use .... simple explorer transfer from one to another ....

I agree use the cable, if setup correctly then you don't need to have an extra charger as well as it charges the phone through your usb port.

I used to use bluetooth and it gave me hell until I used the cable :)
