Hi guys
I need some speakers for my laptop. This is occassional use only so I don't want to pay out lots.
The requirement is the sound is better than built in laptop speakers on a Dell Inspirion (shouldn't be hard!)
Speakers must be USB powered for portability
They won't be large and chunky.
Ideally they won't drain the battery much faster but I realise I can't have it all
Finally my laptop has built in sound so I don't really see the point in speakers than use the USB bus to generate the sound also. Is there any advantage in this over using the laptops headphone jack (other than one less cable)
All suggestions welcome. I'd spend £25-30 max due to the low usage they will be getting
