just build a new pc but bought a P ATA hard drive instead of an SATA one. :mad:

I only have 1 IDE calbe that I can use on the mobo, i have 2 cd/dvd drives aswell.

the P ATA i have got is the 250 GB Maxtor DiamondMax 10 lead free 7200rpm 16MB ATA133 will this be as fast being P ATA or should i sell this and get a SATA HD which is what i wanted in the first place!

return it under the distance selling act if its within 7 days then buy a SATA one.

Doesn't matter, I don't think.. I returned a 7900gt I had opened and used.
