Hi guys, you all very kindly helped me build my first ever gaming PC by explaining and guiding me though part compatibility and it's still running sweetly but now I need some help once again.

I need to build a PC to run our new EPOS system in our shop. I always have half a dozen windows open if not more in Google and will have at least two to three programmes running at the same time too. It needs to be extremely reliable and quick but I have a budget of around £300-350 max and will need windows 8.1.

Can you help....?
 
Very vague question...

I dont think anyone can help you unless you state which programs you are running.
 
I did it think it vague at all. I explained that I have many browsing windows open and that I will have an EPOS programme running in the back ground along with Microsoft outlook. That's it. Ok I didn't mention Outlook but that's it, not too vague is it?
 
If there isn't need for much storage space you could get a 60gb SSD and a cheap dual core in there, 4gb of RAM should cut it, depending on how many windows and what's in those windows you are running (eg 10 Google maps tabs will eat up a lot of RAM in chrome and browser extensions etc).

Let us know if you need monitor, peripherals and OS in that budget or if the OS is separate.
 
Hi Guys, thanks for the help so far. I have everything so it's just the machine itself. Will need OS which I will call Windows 8.1 for now. Happy to go over budget slightly to accommodate it.
