Needed: Silent GPU with no req. power cables.

My Ma doesn't do a lot of gaming (though my siblings like to dabble with The Sims) on her 'rig'; but she does require two screens at a relatively high resolution, and absolute silence from her machine. The only catch is that she has an awful PSU with no GPU power cable, and she can't really afford a new one.

Price range; preferably £20-£30 but could possibly stretch to £50 if really worth it.

Recommendations?

5770 low profile second hand. Probs be about £60 though. You can get a 5450 for £25 but I dont know if it would power 2 screens (both low profile)

A 5770 requires extra power from a 6 pin connector but as above a 6450 would be suitable, low profile, low power and a fair whack more powerful then a 5450.

I had been eyeing up the 6450. No love for the GT620? I'm not a fanboy; the opposite in fact, I go out of my way to make sure I take a thorough look at both sides of the GPU-warzone.

get a molex to pci-e 6 pin adaptor and go with a 5770?

A 6450 will handle Sims fine, as well as 2 screens.

you can get a 5770 without the need for a 6 pin. Its the low profile version. The nvidia 650 thats the same is due out also but thats overkill. Actually,scratch that, I just remembered its the 5750 thats no power connection needed. 650 looks impressive though as it gets all its juice from the pci-e slot
