Because of new job pressures I need to get to grips with Solaris. I have v10 downloading at home at present and was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a decent beginners book I can get my teeth into or any other recommendations you might have of a good way to get started. Much appreciated.

Not sure about 'current' books to buy - but they do a CDROM based course that is ok, but about 300 notes I think - won't you're company pay for training?
As for quick reference books, the O'Reilly book 'Unix in a Nutshell' is great to have to hand.
