Negative Scanner / Flatbed Scanner with Film Adapter

Whats the current cheapest option?

Have about 200 negs I wish to archive.

What about the Epson v350 Photo, it is both a flatbed scanner and has a negative scanner built into the lid.

PC Pro rate it as their A list scanner.

Cheapest option is to buy a second hand scanner, use it, then flog it once you've archived your negs.

Lots of people do this.

THats what I was thinking.. allready have a deecent scanner, there just isnt a neg adapter for it.

All a neg scanner adapter is on a normal scanner is a light source above the negative/slide. You should be able to pick up a cheap photo neg lightbox from somewhere like jessops that should allow you to use your current scanner.

For negs just invert the resultant colour (may need to tweak settings for best results) and for slides just normal.
