1366... As given away by its socket name, LGA 1366. ;)

Lots of stuff (capacitors? resistors?) on the bottom of it, though... Bet it draws a load of power.
 
Don't forget it took AMD from 462 to 754 pins to get the memory controller onto the chip - 292 pins extra to be exact.

Intel are taking a lot more though, from 775 to 1366. An extra 691 pins. Then again it is a whole new architecture. IIRC, the Athlon 64s were just Athlons with the memory controller and 64-bit extensions.
 
@Jokester, do you mean the desktop versions will be available just at the end of this year also or are you
taking about the high end server ones and that the desktop versions will be released sometime in 2009?
Desktop versions will be the end of this year. Expect there to be at least an Extreme version and maybe some other high end chips.
