Nehalem won't need a Northbridge

Sounds like a possible benefit but I still wonder if lumping all the good stuff on die is gonna cause complications for people who overclock?

Nehalem will be one hell of a fast chip when its out, but most games won't benefit from it due to them being more graphics card dependent. For video encoding and the likes, hell yea.

I`ll be buying one when there released :D

Be interesting how fast if all IC's are based on the CPU, including graphics. Granted it means replacing CPU.. but imagine the speed if quad core, SLI 880GTX, northbridge, south bridge was on a single silicon die.

Probably not. A64's memory controller has always been on-die, but the memory speed has always been (to a degree) independent of CPU frequency.
