I first watched Neighbours as a kid back in the 80s, around the time Daphne died. Pretty much watched it religiously (had the odd break or two) until the early 2000s. Saw a slight revival in my viewing habits afterwards, but lost all interest when it moved to Ch5. It just looked different, filters, camera movements, etc.
But I'm watching now, purely for nostalgia, and whilst it's cheesy, it's a wonderful walk down memory lane.
