Neighbours From Hell just got evicted

The thing I've always found odd about semi-detached homes is they put all the bedrooms and living space on the partition wall - where the noise is going to bother next door.

But the hall, stairs, bathroom, kitchen (where you may not notice some noise) is all on the quiet external wall.

Ther's probably a reason for that. eg, heat or to make it easier to merge the houses together if needed

More likely its to do with utilities access like gas, water and waste pipes for the kitchen/bathroom. Run them out an easily accessible side wall instead of back/front of house.

I lived in a shared house once and the neighbours stairs went up the inside wall - the echo that came through from their kids running up and down drove us nuts! (although I'm sure the partys did the same for them...)

But if it was a semi (not terrace) the stairs could run along side your stairs so you'd only hear it if you were on your own stairs.

In a terrace you just hope the builders did a good job.

I can totally see why the Neighbours wanted these people gone. I mean just by looking at those pictures shows you they do not care about the home or other people around them.
That means nothing

The one neighbour that my whole road absolutely hates, keeps his gardens immaculate and is quiet as a mouse.
The one neighbour that everyone loves, has a garden full of discarded toys.

Yes their garden is a bit messy but it's their garden, that's what 6 foot fences are for, so you don't have to look at it.

What are the neighbours going to do - they have never given us any jip.
In fact I was around there 2 weeks ago fixing their PC (AGAIN).
Remember Life Of Grime and Mr Trebus? - that's what it's nearly like in there.
The day 'we' called the RSPCA was for the concern of the dog.

God I will never forget Mr Trebus

He had an illness or something didnt he? Some kind of OCD regarding hoarding stuff. I can stil recall his unplugged fridge in a garden with frozen food packs in it and him trying to offer the camera man stuff lol.

The only problem I can see with gardens kept like dumps is RATS! My folks have a well kept garden and next door's garden is always full of rubbish and it can get so bad the authorities have to come in and clear out.

There is nowt as queer as folk. Some people really do baffle me. I count myself lucky that I've never had issues with people who I live near. Everyone is civil and keeps to themselves pretty much and that's how I like it!

I made sure when buying my house that everything seemed in order but sometimes you just cannot tell what its going to be like until you've moved in!

Good to hear the issues in your street should be going away. Looking forward to piece and quiet I imagine!

Im feeling a bit sick looking at the garden pictures! It just needs a good bit of hard graft to clean up, all the toys can be attacked with a pressure washer and all the junk in the bin. Would look great for kids to play in after all thats done and leaving that dog for 5days... some people

She has never worked but he has a great job.
When he worked for my best mate, my mate said he was on £1000 a week and then he decided to go on his own.
He has let that many people down that he probably struggles now.

what's the job?

enlighen me, why is the quite one hated so much??

Not rent, it's their own house but they obviously haven't been paying the mortgage (or anything).
I've never seen a tax disk on any of their cars so you can bet there's no MOT or insurance.

Should have shopped them tbh... Noticing stuff like this then doing nothing about it just allows these sorts of people get away with it.

Wouldn't be too nice to be in a car crash with any of them - not much chance of getting them to cough up after they've likely maxed a credit card to pay for the jacuzzi and are already behind on mortgage payments to the point where they're being evicted....

Sounds like these neighbours just take everything for granted and don't give a **** about anyone else.

I don't think I'll ever understand people who don't look after their own property. It takes so much time and effort to get the money to buy a house and then people treat it like a dump?!

I can understand (even if I disagree) if you don't care for a rented property but not taking care of your own stuff, just so lazy.

I once went in the house to fix the DVD/TV setup and her husband was drunk on the settee surrounded by bottles and what I thought was cocaine.
She said 'Look at him, he's a waste of ****** time and he never has sex with me. How often do you have sex? Is it normal not to have it for over 3 months?'
Right, let's see how you cabled it up.

Be honest, you smashed didn't you? You horny old dog!

It's alright, we won't tell anyone!:D

Its not just me then... I always think this too.

1) Can Bailiffs just enter without giving any warning?
2) If she found £10,000 next week could they let them back?
3) Having 3 young kids are the authorities bound to place them in a council house or similar?

4) It's none of your business.

Spare a thought for the rest of the street if they have endured 14 yrs of hell.

Oh, and congratulations; you were the exception that didn't endure a horrid time.
