Parcel was delivered just before Christmas for a neighbour and I never signed for it, it was a little odd as it's about 40 houses down so calling them neighbour was a bit of a stretch, the parcel was next day but dated 11th October.

I've tried knocking the door there was no answer.

what would you do with it? It's still in my porch. I'm pretty sure it's a phone, not that it matters.

I'd contact the delivery company to pick it back up. And get a signature from the driver.

Knock on the door again when someone is home?

Tbh I’d try a few times, if they don’t answer then that’s not my issue. They have a card, I wouldn’t be going out of my way for something they can’t be arsed to collect.

Put a note through their door? I hope nothing really taxing ever happens to you, I'm not sure how you'd manage.

contact return address, or open it and find return address. contact them and tell them they can pick it up at a time suitable for you if they want it back

#### running around trying to figure out why you have someone elses parcel from months ago!

It's not one of the scams is it where the scammer signed up for a phone contract using the residents details and meant to intercept the courier but didn't?

Put a note through their door?? Are you knew here, that's not how GD works. Of all the things to put through their door a note is not one of them :p

sorry, as i long time forum user i didnt think i needed to point out the obvious... "with poo attached" ;)

Call and tell them that you have their phone. ;)

I regaled this story a long time back. My sisters neighbour took in a parcel (Christmas present which was a phone for my niece) but denied ever receiving. Long story short, eventually admitted receipt and handed over. All credit had been used up and the phone had photo's of said neighbour... Shocking.
