After months of watching FanboyFlicks and Chris Stuckman, I have a real love for 'so bad it's good/ridiculous/hilarious' films and recently came across the visionary that is.....Neil Breen. He's basically an architect turn film maker (he writes, directs, funds and acts in all of his films). Neil fancies himself a true artist, just look at his picture.....
He basically plays a Jesus/robot/alien/God/magical/hacker type in all 4 of his films. His films are fully of Breen tropes like broken old laptops, stock footage, vests, the dessert, magic rocks, government conspiracies, horrible editing and ADR etc. From the reviews I have watched, they look an absolute laugh for all the wrong reasons.
He has 4 films with the last just coming out in certain regions. I am going to watch one of his for the first time (probably with some booze*
) on Wednesday. Wondered if anyone else has experienced Neil Breen films? I will leave you with the trailers for each film
:
*Admittedly this could be essential but very complimentary with these type of films
I don't think I can link the trailer for his first film, Double Down, as one of the very last shots 'accidentally' shows the back of his tackle
