Win 7 SP1 - IE9 currently (and up to date on updates).

Neither IE10 or IE11 will install - says install prerequisites but these all say "not applicable to your computer".

Anybody had this problem and resolved it please?

(and don't say solution is to install Chrome please)

Thanks, Mel

are you trying to install the right version for your OS
ie your trying to install the 32bit version on a 64bit OS
I had that error when I downloaded the wrong version

It's telling you not to. Install Firefox! ;)

x64 is the 64 bit version. Have you tried completely uninstalling IE and trying to install the latest?

Forget IE..Too many updates from Microrubbish for that. Soon fills up your ssd drive. Give Firefox a go, you won't regret it.

what a load of rubbish it does no such thing

Win 7 SP1 64 bit - download has x64 in it. So presume OK

have you checked windows update, it should have IE11 on there as an update

I've used Chrome, Firefox and IE 11. Keep going back to IE 11 as it is by far the most stable.

Firefox crashes like crazy when trying to watch multiple videos at once.

Chrome is a pain because whenever you attempt to use the search function it lists every website you have ever been to but the one you want.
