Neo Vortexx doesn't fit 4870. Advice please!

Hi all,

Picked up a 4870 from the mm with a dead fan so I ordered a neo vortexx to get it going again. However the cooler is hitting a line of capacitors and will not seat properly.

Is there anything I can do about this? It is only catching by a few mm.

must be a non reference design card, in short, no theres nothing you can do, sry not of help
Edit: unless you can cut away the extra couple of mm from the COOLER (do not attack the card) to make it fit

Remove the aluminium plate from the cooler (retained by three screws), trim end (see dashed lines) and refit. Trim just enough to clear offending components and NO more.

please tell me you have VRM cooling with that neo ? other wize that card will be real dead real quick.
