Hi
My nephew's car (an astra 1.6l 8 valve petrol - o3 I think) gave him a warning light the other day and he did the pedal test gave him a code the corresponds to the EGR valve.
I plugged an obd2 reader in and got a message from torque about the o2 sensor saying
"Closed loop, using 1 O2 sensor (feedback fault)".
does this mean that the O2/lambda sensor is likely faulty? (I've done some googling but that mainly brings back open loop errors).
I've tried unplugging the sensor and plugging it back in to make sure that the electrical contact is not loose, but my knowledge of car electrical/fuel systems is limited to say the least.
