Near total silence now, bliss!

I've just replaced the standard fans in me Lian Li PC7+ with akasa ultra silent 120mm ones and I can't hear anything, its great! I'm also using scythe h/d quietiening mounts, soft gel feet and blu tak on the side panels. Well worth considering doing if your case panels is "rattling" a bit.
Very happy bunny now. :)

just bought the same case and noticed a big difference in noise from my 5 year old heavy gauge steel with car sound deadening pads!.

biggest disapointment with the pc7 is fan noise...

did you remove the mesh and grill plate from your case?...i think that makes a small worth while improvement.

Try running your case fans at 7volt before paying out for new fans...

I was thinking of trying some 120mmx38mm fans at 7volt ...instead of the standard 120mmx25mm fans...

That if the 120mmx 38mm fans will start at 7volt

Both the akasa fans are at 7v, but I reckon the biggest benefit was using the blu tak to deaden the panel noise, surprising how good some of the more quirky ideas are.

I had some panaflo 120mmx38mm and i honestly couldn't recommend then. They carry a considerable low frequency hum in operation. Just get some good 25mm deep silent ones... amber's, yate's, scythe's, noctua's, etc...
