NERF!

Any Nerf nuts in here? When I say nuts I dont mean addicts but people who have Nerf guns for one reason or another.

I have for the kids (and me) a jolt (small 1 shot pistol) a Maverick a multi barrelled gun and also one I cant remember the name of but it has some sort of special sight. Also an extra couple of clips of whistler darts.

Been thinking of getting the Nerf base for the kids and some more guns/ammo as its good fun shooting each other.

Also what are the water gun Nerfs like?

My kids are 5 and under so hopefully more life in their guns, plus its fun for me to cork people with it from range.

Nerf's gone downhill recently with this massive relaunch, back in my day they had proper Nerf guns with foot long darts, a crossbow etc...

Pfff. Real guns with live rounds is where it's at. Survival of the fittest and all that. Social services don't mind either as long as you show them your loaded weapon, they tend to be most agreeable and compliant.

On a more serious(!) note, having kids in order to shoot them with toy guns sounds quite entertaining, like using them as an excuse to play with Lego. I could be warmed to having a couple yet.

Yup got 3 boys so had several Nerf guns over the years. At present I think they have 4 of the standard pistol types, shotgun and the big machine gun with the stand. What is the nerf base? Is this a home made thing or can you buy a ready made one?

Haha, I used to have one of those crossbows! Great fun.

A friend of mine has one in his house which he uses to shoot his sister, and often me if I'm ever round. Been thinking about buying one and launching a full scale attack next time he tries it.

Its this - just like a pop up tent really, but ready for Nerf, with gun holes and ammo clips I believe

When I was a kid my mate had this nerf bazooka, which when pumped up for ages shot this massive rocket for miles. It was pretty epic, and yes it hurt like hell from close range. In fact, a quick google reveals it!
