Nero 5 burning

I'm trying to write DBan to a CD, but Nero just burns it as an image and saves it in my docs. How do I write it to a CD? What good is an image? the file is already a .iso.

Open Nero.

Click Recorder>Choose Recorder.
Set that to your CD recorder instead of the hard drive.
Then use the option to 'Burn Image' to make your CD from the DBan ISO you already have.

imgburn is the best tool for images

set the 'mode' to 'write', then choose the drive as the destination and the iso file as the source
