Nero 6 v 7

I use nero 7, the only thing i dont like about it is the Xp style interface for the buttons along the top.

Although for me nero hasnt added any features I've needed since nero 5, the only reason I have had nero 6&7 is because it normally comes free with my cd/dvd/ writers.

yup. same happened to me when i tried a nero7 demo when it came out. audio was skipping all over the place. also happened when writing virtual images (.nrg files), so it wasn't a hardware or media problem. there were a few threads about it here on ocuk.... :)

i have no idea about the current version though - this was some time ago. :p
 
I googled the problem and it seems to be with the mp3pro plugin that comes with nero.

I burn audio cd's from wav's like normal people so I've never had this problem.

But there is a "fix" out there :)
 
I have been trialing a full price version from work - never had any of the problems suggested.

I have burnt NRG files, MP3 to Audio CD, CUE files to Audio CD and never had an issue - all worked perfectly fine.

The only thing I don't like is the way it numbers the MP3's if you put a directory in there it takes there name from somewhere bizzarre (probably the ID3 tag) and then doesn't put them in the order of the directory - just something to be careful of..
