Behind you... Naked!
This is a shame, but I am kind of stuck as to why it is doing it.

The system is a Gigabyte Z270 and 7700K, 32GB RAM, RX580.
Windows 10 on a 240GB M2 Drive
Nero 2018 - But without almost all of the junk that comes with it... Just the basic Burning prog

Annoyingly, the program seems to work as it should, I never get a failed burn, I use high quality disks, but the issue comes when I try to quit NERO.

The mouse becomes seriously laggy and the PC is utterly unusable for a bit.
It also does this, if I dont burn a thing, and just try killing it off in the TaskManager ( a side note )

Anyone know if this is a known issue or its just my setup?

There are plenty of free alternatives to Nero Burning ROM. Such as CD BurnerXP or ImageBurn, I stopped using Nero years ago.

Thanks guys, I kind of have to agree.

And yes, its 100% legit.

What is really driving me nuts, is that I have used hookie versions for yonks, and then I decide enough is enough, I use the software and so I might as well buy the full legal version, and now I get nothing but utter hell with it.

Its not just the main program either... I do find that I like the cover printer and I found that a nice app that I used to use, plus the Wave Editor... I also like that too.

But I buy the full package and the Wave Editor no longer works, and neither does the DVD cover program, and with the main app slowing the system down, I have to agree... Nero is no longer any use to me and so yeah, I have to now accept that and dump it.

For what its worth, I have used a Linux PC alongside my Windows PC for many years, and more and more, I am using Linux over Windows... The last few disks I have burned have been with Linux anyway, so, I suppose I have found my own solution.... Im going to uninstall Nero now and that will be the end of Nero in my life.

agreed with teh bloat however... Its simply not even remotely funny.

Thanks guys.

As if you are still 1. using nero and 2. burning media haha.

imgbrn - is what you want, I used to use it to burn certain dual layer discs years ago. Nero haha have not heard of that in years.
