Nero help appreciated

Thanks for looking, and any advice you can offer.

Is there a way in Nero to burn a CD or DVD which will play music on being put into the drive, but also will automatically start a slideshow of pictures files contained on it?

I don't think its to do with Nero instead, change how your PC works when you put a disc into your drive. For instance, when I insert a disc a window appears asking which app to use to play the disc, at the bottom of the window is an option for this to happen automatically each time you insert a disc.

it's easy enough to burn a mixed audio/data cd so you can have your music and files on the same cd no problem. but i just don't think windows will be able to handle starting both things at once like you want. of course i may be wrong, i'm just guessing here....

maybe if you burnt the music as mp3s to a data only disk along with the images, maybe you can create an autorun.inf file to start 2 programs at once? again i'm guessing....

Thanks, yes I think I follow what you're saying. In that case, do you know any applications that can take a bunch of pictures files and set them to slideshow AND play music files at the same time?
