Nespresso refillable capsules

Yeah have used them and they just sit in the drawer unused. If you don't mind clearing up the coffee grounds and also it takes a while (and waste) to get the tamping right then they are ok.

Half the reason for a Nespresso is the convenience of slot, button, coffee so it kinda defeats the object somewhat.
Yeah I see your point there. I was just thinking about having a change of coffee, but while keeping the convenience of the Nespresso.

However I guess they have to be made up fresh as they aren't sealed, so probably not worth the hassle each morning and will continue to use the stove top cafetiere if I really want to use our own coffee.

I have a few of the coffee duck pods and to be honest they are not as good.
I have bought the strongest espresso coffee I could find locally and it still didnt come out as strong as the genuine articles.
Washing is a pain in the arse and they do wear out fairly quickly too on the broad side that has the lid.
If you do go for them, buy the finest ground espresso coffee and used something firmer than your thumb to properly tamper it down otherwise you might as well drink hot water.
Great, good to hear from someone who has tried them! I think I will be giving them and home prepared ones in general a miss.

i have brought some compatibles from the real coffee comp and they are lovely. and 23% cheaper.
Sounds promising, do you have a link?
