Nest E vs 3rd Gen

Very interested in buying a Nest system but unsure which to get. I can get either for the same price (£185) so I am not sure if one offers more than the other in features that I would need or want.

Combi boiler, dual zoned. Nothing fancy I don't think. One thermostat in the lounge and one in the master bedroom. So I will need two of whichever device I buy.

Thoughts?

I am leaning towards the E. The "plug in anywhere" control pods are quite useful but you control it all from an app anyway so as long as it has all the "smart" stuff that the 3rd gen has then I think I will go with it. Just wanted to check I wasn't missing anything obvious.
