.NET Development - Windows Laptop Recommendation

Hi all,
I primarily use my Mac nowadays for mobile app development but I do get the odd occasion when I build stuff using .NET

I’ve used VMWare for years but it’s just too darn laggy for me now. Some days it’s painful trying to develop on VStudio.

I’d like to get a decent windows laptop to do my .NET work. I’d not do anything else with it. I just want it to compile and run fast and I’ll be happy.

Can anyone recommend some to me?

Ideally looking for a 15/16”-ish screen

Can you not use your Mac for .NET development? It is cross platform these days. Unless you want to use older versions of .NET which are Windows only.

The newer versions are where all the current development is taking place.
 
I guess I could but I’m stuck in my ways. Also, the experience of .NET via VSCode !== Visual Studio. As far as I’m aware VSCode is the only option on Mac.
