Net Framework Issues

Having some .Net framework issues after installing some windows updates. Basically CCC wont run now because of related 'sortkey' error and having bought magicka in the steam sale that won't run either.

I have tried reinstalling 3.5 by using the windows feature menu that hasn't helped. Tried using the .net framework verifier and that brings up errors and tried to clean it and reinstall using a cleaner and that hasn't helped.

Kinda lost at the moment as what to try next?

Anyone had similar problems and fixed them?

My .NET 4.0 is shagged and nothing, NOTHING I could do lets me reinstall it. I gave up after 6+ Hours. Luckily nothing I use needs it but should that ever change I will need to rebuild.

A .NET 4 Update crashed and caused it. Bad times.
