I've got an Acer Aspire One D250 netbook running XP. For a long time it was connected to my wireless router and worked fine for internet use and file sharing. One day that stopped - my network wasn't showing up as an available wireless connection, despite several of my neighbours networks showing in the list. That's with the netbook 6 feet away and my various other bits (phones, PC's etc) connecting to the network fine.
I recently changed my router and set up a new network from scratch (using the netbook connected by ethernet which worked fine.) Again, the netbook can't see the wireless network but can find my neighbours. All my other devices are connected to the new network.
I'm baffled. Does anyone have any ideas why it's doing this?
ETA:
Sorted, changed channel from 13 to something lower and it seems to have worked.
