I understand that £200 is a very limited budget for a laptop or netbook, but I'm wondering if their is anything anyone could suggest for within this price range?

For £200, I think the best I can see is:

Intel Atom dual core N2600.
Processor speed 1.6GHz.
1GB DDR3 RAM.

Could I get anything better? I don't really know where I should look.

Cheers!

Try and find something AMD based, as it will be an all round better performer - I can't find anything in your budget though.

What about a tablet (e.g. Nexus 7)?

I do not want a Nexus 7. I've had 2 and had problems with both. :p

:D

How come? I guess the netbook would be OK, but not exactly great. Would take the Nexus 7 any day though. :p

In the ideal world, with more money I would have suggested the Thinkpad X121.

Oh I have been having a fun old time in the Nexus 7 thread. I'm very OCD as it is and the Nexus 7 was plagued with hardware issues. We did not get along. :p

Maybe I should go along the lines of a 2nd hand i3 laptop?
