I have a Samsung NC10 and my dad has the N130 and both of us are looking to upgrade the memory from the existing 1gb to 2gb.

Now I've found a twin pack of "2 x 1gb PC2-6400 800 Mhz DDR2 200 pin SODIMM" and thought this is just the ticket!

My question is, is this the right sort of memory for both netbooks and also I've read that the NC10 might have a "limitation" of 1gb!?!?!?

Can anyone help clear this up for me?

Thanks....

NC10 can take upto 2GB but problem is that it only has 1 RAM socket (AFAIK) and I believe it's the same for N130.

yep the Samsung NC10 only as 1 slot, and it can only take upto 2gb of ddr2 ram

from the looks of it the max amount and speed is 2gb, PC2-6400

Yeah this is true, the maximum is one stick of 2GB PC2-6400 SODIMM RAM. I have an N220 and it's the same story.
