Hi all,

Quite a few of us at work own netbooks and laptops and were thinking of playing games over the network while on breaks.

Obviously they can't be anything too demanding due to the limitations of the netbooks.

Anyone any suggestions?

I was thinking Diablo II for one, maybe some turn based games too.

Cannot be a bit of LAN DOOM !!!!

We used to play it at college, desipte that we should not have been able to install Doom on there in the first place :p The techys there were baffled and the librarians wasnt too happy when all of a sudden one of the guys would yell HOLY **** as someone would jump out on them :)

Ahh good times

DOOM !!!!!!!!!

thanks for all the suggestions :)

I've actually got a lot of these so will try them out later once I can install from my desktops CD drive.

If you're thinking of any strategy games, then it's worth throwing Total Annihilation into the ring as well (IF you can find it nowadays :p). TotalA + Core Contingency + TAUCP = win!

Can have so much fun with it, and you dont have to be any good to pick it up with some friends and have a great time with some epic battles :D

TA > AOE imho, but it really depends on the sort of game you'd rather be playing. I'd happily recommend both tbh :)

(For FPS, unreal tournament still gets my vote :))
