My girlfriend is after something to do her work on.

She originally wanted a tablet but she will be doing A LOT of typing so I suggested a netbook.

A tablet with a bluetooth key board is another possibility.

As I said, she will be doing A LOT of typing and it needs to be able to browse the internet (you tube etc) and run itunes (if she goes down the netbook route. This isn't too important).

What do you guys think the best option is?

Max budget is £400.

Look at dell outlet they have a range of 12", 13" and 14" Laptops.

The Inspiron 14z Ultrabook would do the job nicely.

ACER Aspire V5-171
ASUS Vivobook S200E
ASUS S200E-CT216H

These should be good.

Just bought a ASUS Vivobook S200E myself after selling the my MacBook Air. The S200E is a fantastic machine that's looks and performs way better than the price tag suggests. I don't miss my MacBook at all :D

I've just brought a Acer v5 171 an hour ago. It's a very fast compared to my old atom netbook and if fact as fast as my full size laptop. Haven't used it enough to say anything else apart from it small and very light.
