Netbook/small laptop

Just looking for suggestions a netbook or laptop.
I have a desktop so don't need anything fancy. This would be just used for internet and msn, maybe the odd tv/dvd watching while placed beside me on the desk.
Looking for £250ish which I know isn't a lot to play with, the best Ive seen are the dell 1011 for £150-£200 for the outlet (change of price and I can't tell what the differences are)

edit: can some-one explain the differences? I'm a bit out of loop. Whats better the n270 or z530?

Wee bump for your thread Ash as I'm after the same thing (Netbook). Like you it'll be low intensity stuff, mainly used by children for surfing, playing CBBC games and maybe loading some video onto it from a flip camera. Hope you don't mind me adding into your thread.

It's fine.

I worked out the difference through various websites and on the outler site the z520 processor is the one to go for as it seems to be for the mini 10, which may come with a tv card...it's all rather confusing!

z520 is a slower processor compare to the n270.

I personally go for the Asus 1008ha or 1005ha - n280 version

Really? Mmmh, review said that the z's where in 10 which is better than the 10v

Still not sure which road to go down. I was under the impression the Z520 used less power (longer battery life) and could do 1080P but the N270 couldnt?

Also, is Windows 7 Starter a no no? Surely XP will run a lot faster than 7?
