Hello. How good are these small netbook machines? They mostly appear to be based around an Intel Atom (N270), coming with either ~80 Gb HDD or ~16Gb Solid State Drive (SSD, if that's the correct terminology). Apart from the obvious storage capacity, are there other advantages and disadvantages?
How well do they cope with running applications such as MS Office and the likes? Can they do it? Do such applications run hopelessly slowly or just slower than a conventional laptop?
