Netbooks vs Tablets

Tablets are touch screen, more portable, more popular, weigh less, smaller and there is more variety of them and run either Android, Mac or Blackberry software.

Netbooks are just smaller versions of note books/laptops and have full qwerty keyboards and slightly more powerful and usually run Windows XP/7.

Or you can be smart and buy something that is both a netbook and a tablet, the Asus Transformer ;).

So far if you look at it specwise, tablets offer far more features over a netbook, such as a touchscreen, lighter materials, solid state memory, gyroscopes, GPS, etc... all this things adds up on the manufacturing costs so ends up being more expensive.

I am not a fan of the tablet! I don't like touch screens. I prefer the old fashioned keyboard and mouse approach myself. A touch screen phone yea, but not a touch screen pc. My brother has a HP Touchsmart 300 I think it is, and the power of it is abysmal. He spent £700 on a amd athlon tri core with 3gb ddr3 1066 ram with crappy ati 4250 graphics on a 20" screen.

I could have built him a gaming system for that amount of money!
