Netbooks with Multitouch touchpads and XP?

Am I right in thinking that netbooks that boast multitouch touchpads will only let you use them under Windows 7, since that's the only version of the OS that supports multitouch natively? Or do they usually bundle their own touchpad drivers so you can double-tap and scroll to your heart's content under Windows XP as well?

I think its windows 7 only.
Although performance wise win7 and Xp seem on par. I have it installed on my acer one netbook with 1.5gb of Ram and it is just as fast as when I had win xp on it

Thanks for the reply. I've been gravitating towards Windows 7 anyway, but not having multitouch under XP pretty much decides it. Couldn't work on a 10" screen without easy zooming and scrolling.
