Netflix - am I missing something here?

I have a Netflix account (UK) which my partner in Austria also uses.

Recently we have noticed that our available titles are completely different. We both have a profile and those profiles have the same age/rating settings.

I understand that there are different licencing issues for different countries, but the difference is much greater than I expected.

Random examples:
She has hosts of Marvel and DC titles, I have almost none
She has Rambo, I do not
She has The Valhalla Murders, I do not
She has Ghostbusters (the original), I do not

Am I being completely dense or is this just how it is?

I'm not a complete luddite guys, I'm aware there will be differences due to licencing and distribution issues etc, I guess it's just the scale of it that surprised me - we sat at the same time last night and she listed about 30 titles, I think I had about 4 of them!
