US: Netflix - El Chapo series!

This drama series chronicles the true story of the rise, capture and escape of notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán.

I'm 8 episodes in an enjoying this one. If you like the series Narcos this is a good fix till season 3 starts!

Anyone else watching it?

Does this have the same style and budget that Narcos had or is it a tv show that Netflix have stuck the original tag on.

It's not quite as good as Narcos but it has a similar feel so 5 episodes in and I'm enjoying it. :cool:

Yes.

As good as Narcos? No.

But it's very watchable.

Yeah that would have been good. I'm enjoying both series though.

I'm about 5 episodes into season 2 and it's better than season 1. I get a feeling they must have got a bigger budget for season 2.
