Just signed up now that it's available, £5.99p/m, unlimited streaming. :) http://www.netflix.co.uk.

Personally after flicking around for the past few minutes I'm a bit disappointed in some of the choice, though I imagine it'll get better. Lots of British stuff, but not a lot of American TV, and no Marvel movies like Thor, Cap America, or Xmen. Also not Batman Begins or Dark Knight which I thought was most surprising.

Anyone else tried it yet?

Yes, there is far more than that. I've been browsing around and found a lot more than I saw previously, but it's still disappointing there's no WB, Paramount or Fox stuff. Far too much British stuff.

I was going to sign up as well until I realised they needed my cc details , why do they need them if its a trial???????

Its not like your trialing lovefilm or BB that send you discs that people could nick while on the trial.

It's quite simple; they hope that at the end of the free trial, one of two things will happen (It's quite a large part of the business model of services like Netflix):

1. You enjoy the service so much you want to keep using it at £5.99 per month, and as such it's "convenience" that you don't need to do anything to continue.

2. Your life will be hectic and busy, or you will be lazy, and forget about the renewal date, causing you to be billed for another month.

As long as you remember to cancel by the end of the month you won't be billed. Simples. ;)

I have Unblock US set up on my router, and on occasion my PS3/360/iPhone/iPad will refuse to connect to Netflix.

The fix I have found is to visit netflix.com in a browser. Unblock US can sometimes forget that you're subscribed and you have to reenter your email address. Sometimes you don't even need to enter the email, it just needs you to visit their site from a browser first.
