netflix. Password profiles?

thinking of getting Netflix. But was curious. if you can have profiles for different age groups in the household ie children and password other profiles, use a age restriction etc.

just seems a useful 'app' if it can be safely controlled for the children so there not watching things they should not.

or, am i better of looking then at amazon fire or chrome cast.
just an idea for a stocking filler at christmas.

as one child member is getting a tv for there bedroom, so that will be either free view or these amazon fire sticks or chrome casts if we dont go the way with netflix.

Not so much separate passwords but you can have different account under one main account, if that makes sense? which you can set up restrictions on.

There are child settings and a special child's version that only shows kids content but I've never really looked into it in detail.

Chromecasts are great if you have a phone / tablet to use with it. Otherwise the fire stick is the better way to go.

You can assign a pin number for parental controls, with a scale of what is to be controlled. Here's a screengrab from my account (I don't have it enabled):

Then on each profile, you can assign what age group the profile is for:
