Just logged into my Netflix for the first time in a few weeks, greeted by a message saying my sub is rising to £7.50 a month, not sure if i'll carry it on now, haven't watched it for a few weeks now.

Paying £7.50 a month for Netflix, £79 a year for Amazon prime and £10 a month for my Giganews account.

I think new customers now pay £7.50 a month as a starting point, it'll only keep rising too.

Do you have someone else who uses netflix ?

You could use there 2nd sign in like i do,although i hardly use it as i have trouble getting a program/film to load past 25%

Contemplating cancelling myself - £4.49 I was paying up until this month felt like good value for what I did use of it, they'll have to add a fair bit of extra content to feel like £7.50 is worth it for my viewing tastes/habits.

I cancelled shortly after they blocked VPN/DNS acces, not that i was using it much anyway since i've gotten into twitch watching.
If something big comes out i'll sub for a month and binge watch. probably over Christmas.

How many hours of Netflix do you watch a month?

Look at it this way, you go to the cinema it costs on average £16 for a ticket for maybe a two hour film.

No one apart from me uses Netflix in my house, I used it all the time when I could connect to Netflix US but hardly ever now.

I have used Netflix for about 8 hours since March as everything I want to watch it available elsewhere.

6.90 where you live india?

its about £7 on their cheap days which iirc are Sunday through Monday.
otherwise its £10.50 around here. insane amounts. why cant every cinema do an unlimited card.

I hope the price increase allows them to do more. although had no such notification from them yet.

He wouldn't have said 16 if he went to the same cinema as you. Obviously people are going to quote what it costs them. What it costs elsewhere is irrelevant (to them).

He said on average it costs you £16 when you go to the cinema. That's incorrect.

That's still not £16. My local Cineworld is £8.70 for an adult ticket if you book online.

If you want 1 screen and SD it is £5.99 or the next option is 2 screens + HD for £7.49.

They should make a plan for 1 screen + HD for £6.49.

I've had Netflix as soon as it was live in the UK. Was on a old price until a few months ago when I switched to the 4 screens / 4K plan. Even for £9 a month I get my moneys worth out of Netlix tenfold.

I'm happy paying the price for just their originals alone. Everything else is gravy. I get far more use out of Netflix than I do my Amazon Prime which I only really keep for the delivery and the new 'top gear' coming out. Though Preacher is pretty good.
