Netflix Seaspiracy

I want to watch it but I know my head will implode.

Never understood why fishermen are keen to overfish, they must know they will have no jobs if they carry on as is, ditto with all the plastic and rubbish they dump/lose at sea.

Guess it will wipe the smug look off the pescatarians... I rarely eat fish, my cats eat way more in a month than I do.

Was a good watch, reminded me of when Gordon Ramsey went to investigate the shark fin trade and got the same treatment.

Seeing Sea Shepard again hopes Discovery would start the show up again but I doubt it with everything that happened after it aired it's last season.

The planets already a lost cause. You only have to look back at the last 20 years to know that.

We'll want to change right at the last minute when everythings dead, but not for the right reasons.

The Gordon Ramsey documentary shocked me, some people can be so barbaric when money is involved.

Granted, I'm not a saint and eat meat etc., but always from the butcher or supermarket so I hope it's all sourced properly and humanely, as opposed to from wild animals left to die slowly in pain.

the last 20 years wasn't even that bad really.

theres been a big shift in attitudes even from the big companies

2000s must have been when the first companies started going carbon neutral, I think f1 was one of the first.

okay it's a bit of a scam how they do it but still

I don't eat much fish but after watching that I was still shocked. My hopes of anything changing however are non-existent, when you consider the whole industry is in on it.

Absolutely. The bit about "protected" waters made me laugh and die a bit inside... one could say that governments aren't being held accountable for condoning such nonsense.

I really don’t like this fella it’s almost like a Sasha BC mocumentary, all over the place.

I had the same feeling.. maybe it was his voice but it took me 20 minutes to accept that it wasn't a wind up.

A lot of the people in this ‘documentary’ are already complaining about being misrepresented or having bits of their interviews taken out of context

These vegan pseudo-documentaries of which this is the latest in a long long are the worst kind of ‘journalism’ - people either drink the kool-aid completely and overreact, or find it so easy to discredit some of the statements that the real issues don’t get the attention they deserve. I await the inevitable anti-natalist Netflix piece on forced population control next as they’ve now done meat, dairy and fish.
